OBEDIENT PLANTS HOUSE SMALL BEES

Play Video

How many tiny bees can you find? Like a tiny living hotel, the Obedient not only feeds bees, it houses them when they want to nap or seek cover when it rains.

Versatile is a great word to describe this plant. It not only feeds the bees and butterflies, it feeds larval caterpillars as well. It offers shelter as mentioned above and readily self seeds - spreading it's many benefits.

Please remember to buy your native plants strictly from native plant nurseries. Other garden centers will sell these plants, but the will be CULTIVARS or hybrids--- which don't feed larval caterpillars and have other differences from a single species native plant.
